About IELTS

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of individuals who want to study or work in countries where English is used as a language of communication. IELTS exam is conducted worldwide by IDP, Uk and Australia.
IELTS is the first step in Student Visa application process. One can appear for IELTS test as many times as required. It is conducted 4 -5 times every month. The test score is valid for 2 years. Types of IELTS

1. IELTS Academic

2. IELTS General Training

This version is often used for immigration purposes or for those seeking work experience or training in an English-speaking country.

IELTS Module Format

Listening (30 minutes)

Four sections with 40 questions. The recordings include conversations, monologues, and discussions.

Speaking (11-14 minutes)

A face-to-face interview with a certified examiner. This evaluates your proficiency in English communication.

Reading (60 minutes)

Three sections with 40 questions. This section assesses your reading skills using a variety of text types.The texts in this module are more academically oriented, such as excerpts from textbooks, journals, and research papers.

Writing (60 minutes)

Two tasks. Task 1 requires writing a description based on visual information, and Task 2 involves writing an essay in response to a point of view, argument, or problem.
